Bob Webster Brings Olympic Torches To Metalmaster

In celebration of The Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, we were pleased to meet our valued employee, Theresa Ernst’s father, Bob Webster. Through fundraising efforts in 1984, Bob was able to keep the torch he carried for 1 ½ miles in Schererville, Indiana as it traveled across country to the summer Olympic Games held in Los Angeles, California. In 2002, he carried the torch for 1 mile in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as it was headed to the Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah. Bob was able to keep this torch as a result of a lottery held by Coca-Cola. Fortunately, he’s only missed one week of running in over 30 years. Go Team USA and God Bless America!
